Birthday RAK

So I joined the Birthday Random Acts of Kindness forum over at Splitcoast Stampers and committed to sending 2 cards a month to people with birthdays. These are what I came up with. I am in love with shaker cards and how easy they are to make nowadays.
I used MFT stitched square frames and assorted cardstock from my stash. I have no idea who made the textured orange cardstock or the light pink one. The dark pink is SU! melon mambo. The floral patterned paper is from the Woodland Park collection by October Afternoon. Got an 8" x 8" paper pad from one of the Paper Issues warehouse boxes. I'll be doing shaker cards in darker colors with this same pad, mixing up the solid frames with a patterned paper with a large pattern.
The sentiment die is MFT; it was free because I purchased over $60 worth of products. For the shaker mix, I used seed beads by SSS in white and orange, and sequins by Doodlebug Design's rainbow assortment in pink and yellow, and yellow by Queen & Co. Also used Stephanie Barnard chunky glitter and rhinestones from Ebay. I'm so thankful that I got a small Xyron sticker maker for sentiments, because adhering those thin words would've been very difficult and messy if I had used liquid glue.

  1. Oh, I love RAKs too. I will check out the forum when I have time. I wonder if there are any Christmas RAKs too. Or maybe Christmas swaps ... Hmmm ...

Anyways, enough babbling. I wanna tell you that I really like your cards. For some reasons shakers always make me giggle and I just want to play with them. He he

    Have a great day! xx
